Product description

The FKV-14P three-phase phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment from critical malfunctions in the power grid. It provides comprehensive control of phase presence, phase failure, phase interference, asymmetry (fixed 40%), incorrect phase sequence, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: if all three mains voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct, and the winding temperature does not exceed the permissible limits, the relay switches on (contacts 15-18 are closed) and the OUT LED lights up.

• Voltage fault or asymmetry: if the voltage of any phase differs by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 close; the OUT LED is off.

• Phase sequence fault: the relay reacts by opening the contacts and turning off the OUT LED.

• Winding temperature exceeded: the relay disconnects the output until the temperature returns to the permissible limits.

• Operation recovery: After the parameters normalize, the relay automatically returns to the operating state.
