  3. Time for handling your request or complaint. Your requests will be handled no later than within 2 business days (48 hours; this period may be extended by weekends and public holidays customary in the Czech Republic).

Right to Withdraw from the Purchase Contract

  1. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, received the goods (or the last product, partial shipment, or individual item if the purchase contract concerns several items ordered in one order, or the delivery of goods in several partial shipments or items).
  2. Where can you exercise your rights? If you decide to withdraw from the purchase contract, inform us using your user account. Alternatively, contact us by e-mail at info@pelek.eu or by telephone at +420 705 724 353. Withdrawal from the purchase contract may be made by any clear statement (for example, by e-mail). For this purpose, you may use the attached model withdrawal form, which is not mandatory.
  3. Address for sending returned goods. A return label is usually available in your user account on pelek.lv. Alternatively, please contact us by e-mail at info@pelek.eu or by telephone at +420 705 724 353, to ensure your right to return the goods and agree on an individual procedure.
  4. Timely withdrawal from the contract. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal from the Purchase Contract

  1. What happens if you withdraw from the purchase contract? If you withdraw from the purchase contract, we will, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from the purchase contract, refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choosing a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).
  2. Refund. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless we have agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
  3. Obligation to return the goods. You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from the purchase contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period expires.
  4. Cost of returning the goods. The direct costs of returning the goods are the customer's responsibility. If the value of the returned goods exceeds EUR 40 excluding postage (i.e. from EUR 40.01), we will cover the direct return costs. The direct costs of returning goods that, due to their nature, cannot be returned by regular mail are your responsibility.
  5. Reduction in the value of the goods. If you withdraw from the purchase contract, you are liable for any reduction in the value of the returned or sent-back goods resulting from handling the goods in a manner other than what is necessary to become familiar with their nature and properties. If damaged or incomplete goods are returned to us, we will set off our claim for compensation against the purchase price you request to be refunded. We will always assess the specific case to determine the extent of the damage, the value of the goods, and the appropriate reduced value. We will inform you of these steps at the e-mail address provided.
  6. Impossibility of withdrawing from the purchase contract. These cases are described in detail in Section 3.6 of the VOP.
