DS-48 pulse counter - 2 × display, 2 inputs, relay output
Product description
The DS-48 pulse counter is a universal dual-input panel meter equipped with two 4-digit LED displays (current value + target value). It can count, subtract and process signals from mechanical switches, PNP/NPN inductive sensors and incremental encoders. Its wide range of input and output functions makes it suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measurement stations and process control.
Main functions
-
2 × 4-digit 7-segment LED display
-
1× OUT relay output + SSR output
-
Multiple modes: count up, count down, sum from multiple inputs, control via second input.
-
Support for mechanical switches, PNP/NPN sensors and encoders.
-
Input frequency selection: 20 / 50 / 2500 / 7500 Hz
-
Password setting protection
-
EEPROM memory - data retention in case of power failure
-
Option to set OFFSET and decimal point
-
Automatic recovery of the last value after a power failure
Function
Input function (7 modes):
-
Count up
-
Count down
-
Sum from two inputs simultaneously
-
Pause controlled by the second input
-
Input negation
-
Count from rising/falling edge
-
Combinations: add from one edge, subtract from the other, negate, etc.
Output functions (9 modes):
-
Relay activation upon reaching target
-
Hold until RESET
-
Pulse output 0.1-999.9 s
-
Control via SSR output (NPN)

Installation recommendations
-
Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shields.
-
Separate signal wires from power and supply cables.
-
For power input, use a fuse F250 mA / 250 VAC.
-
Protect the equipment from moisture, vibration, dust and excessive temperatures.
-
For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz.
-
If two inputs are used:
Phs4 mode → max. ¼ input frequency
Modes 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ input frequency
