Digital overload relay with LED display 3×3 digits TRM-50

The TRM-50 digital overload relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents, while providing operational control.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the provided wiring diagram.
2. Once the wiring is complete, connect the power supply. After switching on, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" controller to set the overload value. The set value is displayed on the left display.
4. Use the "t" controller to set the delay time. The set value is also displayed on the left display.

When the device is turned on:

• The relay switches on, the output contact switches to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device counts down the delay time and the ERR indicator lights up.
• When the time has elapsed, the relay trips, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator turns off.

The TRM-50 series electronic current relay is designed for automatic disconnection of consumers if the maximum permissible current is exceeded. It has a programmable activation range, activation time and reverse activation settings. There are 3 modes to return to "working" state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.

Reset Modes

• Manual mode: To resume device operation after an overload, press the Reset button. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Semi-automatic mode: This allows the device to automatically reset the system three times in case of an overload, and then, upon the next fault, wait for a manual reset. The corresponding LED lights up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows the system to automatically reset itself every time an overload fault occurs. The corresponding LED lights up.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button pressed for 10 seconds. After changing the mode, the corresponding LED will light up.

Current asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest currents in the phases exceeds 50%, the device will enter asymmetry fault mode within 2 seconds (prevents system damage if one phase is lost).

If an asymmetry fault occurs:

• At the moment an asymmetry fault occurs, the display group of both phases that caused the fault flashes and the ERR indicator lights up.
• To exit asymmetry fault mode, a manual reset is required.
