Load control/limitation relay, 3-phase, range 290-400 A, manufacturer TENSE (Turkey)
The TRM-400 digital overload relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents, while providing operational control.
- 290-400 A (adjustable overload value)
- Adjustable fault delay time
- Adjustable operating mode (automatic, semi-automatic, manual)
- When you purchase a TENSE current relay, you receive a ready-to-use device - current transformers are included.
Device usage and operating principle
- Connect the device according to the attached wiring diagram.
- Once wiring is complete, connect the power supply. After switching on, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
- To set the overload value, use the "A>" controller. The set value is displayed on the left display.
- Use the "t" controller to set the delay time. The set value is also displayed on the left display.
When the device is switched on:
- The relay switches on, the output contact switches to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator lights up.
- If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device counts down the delay time, and then the ERR indicator lights up.
- When the set time has elapsed, the relay switches off the contact, switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator turns off.
The TRM-400 series electronic current relay is designed for automatic disconnection of consumers if the maximum permissible currents are exceeded. It has a programmable activation range, as well as the ability to set the activation time and reverse activation time. There are 3 modes to return to "working" state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.
Reset modes
- Manual mode: To restore device operation after an overload, the Reset button must be pressed. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator lights up.
- Semi-automatic mode: This allows the device to automatically reset the system three times when an overload occurs, and then, upon the next failure, wait for a manual reset. The corresponding LED lights up.
- Automatic mode: The device allows the system to automatically reset every time an overload error occurs. The corresponding LED lights up.
Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button pressed for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding LED lights up.
